Crowe Humble Wesencraft is a specialist Criminal Defence firm of solicitors located in Byker, Newcastle upon Tyne. The practice was set up in 2002 in order to concentrate solely on helping people in trouble with the police or other regulatory authorities. Since then, the firm has grown to become one of the biggest suppliers of Criminal Defence Services in the region.

We have extensive experience of defending all types of criminal investigations and prosecutions ranging from road traffic matters through to murder cases, covering everything in between. Legal advice and representation is provided at the police station, Magistrates Court, Crown Court and Court of Appeal. We can also assist if you are interviewed by the police at home or at the premises of a body such as the Department for Work and Pensions, which investigates benefit fraud cases.

Although most of our work is repeat business from existing clients and recommendations, we frequently receive new enquiries and we also assist those without their own solicitors under the Duty Solicitor Scheme. All of our solicitors are qualified duty solicitors.
